Western provides the evening meal for about 25 women at the shelter on the 3rd Saturday each month. The lead volunteer for the day prepares a menu; several volunteers are needed to prepare and serve the food. Volunteers usually meet at Western about 5:00 p.m., then car pool to the shelter with the meal. We’re finished with cleanup by 7:15 p.m. Kids can accompany parents, so this can be a good family experience.
